Vasyl Kornevych arrived in Cold Spring from his native Ukraine in 2005 and promptly began working in the home trade, developing his skills as a carpenter, painter, and roofer. Working with a master coppersmith, Vasyl began to study and shape the natural materials (zinc, copper, and slate) that would ultimately shape his own future as a master roofer. Today, Vasyl lives in the Hudson Valley with his wife, Yuliya, and their two young daughters, where they enjoy mountain biking, fishing, and sustainable gardening.
